the brief

Concept and create a compelling campaign for an under-recognized cause, aiming to inspire advocacy and support among people through visually engaging materials.

the solution

Learning Legacy is a non-profit that provides a platform for individuals within multibillion-dollar industries to address the issue of underpaid and undervalued educators by supporting classrooms and schools financially. This non-profit was created myself to address the gap in education.

AN IMPACTFUL AFFAIR

To promote Learning Legacy, a gala was organized to raise awareness and attract individuals from various industries. Collateral items included personalized name tags with icons and colors representing attendees' industries, banners showcasing organizational icons, and invitations with RSVP and agenda cards for the event.

MERCHANDISE WITH PURPOSE

Learning Legacy also offers tote bags, shirts, and hats for purchase, with proceeds supporting the cause. These items raise funds and spread awareness in the community.

EMPOWERING THROUGH EDUCATION

The Learning Legacy posters target the sports and music industries, featuring respected educators with brief bios. Each poster reflects the aesthetic of its industry and is placed in high-traffic areas like locker rooms and theater green rooms to maximize visibility and inspire action.

concepting

I then began to create a moodboard of the look and feel I wanted for my non-profit. I knew I wanted it to be bold and professional, but also young to connect that the non-profit is meant for teachers and children.

sketching

I began sketching logo layouts and icons for the non-profit. I also began to sketch the layout of the other materials.

designing

Once I got a firm grasp on what I wanted Learning Legacy to look like, I began to design in Illustrator, choosing colors, typefaces, and layouts.
