Spreading Happiness One Sweet Treat at a Time

SUMMARY

Design a contemporary identity for an ice cream and soda shop that resonates with young adults and families. The brand should feel joyful, modern, and approachable through distinctive color, typography, and a flexible visual system.

Solution

Scoops & Bubbles is built around shared moments that happen over refreshing drinks and sweet ice cream. The identity pairs bright, optimistic color with a clean, recognizable logo to reflect the shop’s playful tone and easygoing atmosphere. Every element was designed to feel welcoming, energetic, and instantly memorable.

Brand identity

The brand identity centers around a custom-styled wordmark that brings personality without sacrificing clarity. While the bold, upbeat color palette reinforces the sense of fun. Together, the elements create a visual language that feels playful, but polished and ready to be adapted across the brand.

Packaging

From ice cream pints to soda labels and takeaway cups, each packaging piece was designed to feel cohesive. I translated the brand elements across multiple formats, ensuring consistency while adapting for scale and hierarchy.

 

A key learning moment in this process was designing for curved surfaces by refining the layout and spacing to ensure legibility and proper production.

Photography

The photography was developed in tandem with the brand identity to ensure a seamless visual story. I conducted each shoot, using backdrops, props, and lighting to echo the color palette and brand personality.

The resulting imagery highlights both product and atmosphere, capturing not just what Scoops & Bubbles sells, but how it feels.

OOH & Social

To connect with the target audience, I created a poster series and social assets that amplify the brand’s playful spirit. Bold color, expressive typography, and vibrant photography work together to create eye-catching compositions that feel light, modern, and inviting.

Each piece is designed to stop the scroll or catch attention on the street, encouraging people to step into a moment of fun.

Gallery Exhibition

The project culminated in an immersive gallery installation that brought the brand into a physical space. Visitors stepped into the world of Scoops & Bubbles, experiencing the identity through large-scale visuals, packaging displays, advertisements, and photography.

As a final touch, guests were offered a sweet treat on their way out, transforming the brand from something they viewed into something they experienced. The exhibition bridged the visual and physical story, reinforcing the brand’s core idea: hapiness is meant to be spread.
