VOCATIONAL DREAM CAMPUS
CLASSROOM
SHANGHAI DISNEY RESORT
SUMMARY
Shanghai Disney Resort asked for classroom graphics for their new Vocational Dream Program launching in September 2025. The goal of the space is to offer technical college classes.
MY ROLE
Working with the senior designer, I created wallpapers and posters for the classroom overhaul. I completed the project in two weeks. This was one of my favorite projects as it was super fun getting to design on such a large scale and see everything come together.

The senior designer provided me with logos, a color palette, and a simple mood board, but let me have complete creative freedom to design and put together what I thought would fit. As I worked and completed walls, I would collaborated with the senior designer to get feedback. I designed a total of three corridor walls and four interior classroom walls. I was given measurements of walls and images of what the walls looked like. I laid out the walls in Illustrator and marked where doors and other fixtures were.

As I was designing, I wanted to make the space as immersive as possible. I thought about what the viewers might think as they saw it. I ensured everything was cohesive by utilizing a cohesive color palette and having repeating elements. I also made sure I had elements that would feel like Shanghai by making geometric patterns for the background wallpapers. I was intentional with where I placed elements, trying to make it easy for installation.
